Rybnik v Lodz

What a farce.

Light rain throughout the afternoon made us wonder if this would go ahead.  But in no way should the meeting have been threatened.  Meeting started after an eventful heat 1 the track record was broken by Batchelor and Tungate had taken a tumble.  I suspect the latter proved more influential on the forthcoming events.

Heat 2 a Lodz reserve throw himself at the scenery after going way too fast into turn 3 on the 2nd or 3rd lap.  Result long delay and much track grading on the 3rd turn with the eventual abandonment of the meeting!!
